From Ricardo Alvarez Castillo, Minister
Date: November 2010
This year there have been many blessings, we had new baptisms, and we have new ministries in the church.
1: We are preaching in two places at a time, northern Parral and Santa Barbara, Chihuahua.
2: We have the project of opening a new congregation in Jiménez.
3: We are working in the evangelism of new people.
4: We are working with a kitchen to give breakfast to poor children.
Growth of the Church in North Parral.
Each year, we have had new baptisms, these are some of the names of some:
Manuel, Alberto, Sabas, Jesús, Andres, Cirilo, Tino, Javier, Jesús Castañeda, Valentin, Gerardo, Eduardo, Orlando, Esteban, Adrian, Cesar, Omar. Javi, Maria, Candelaria, Benita, Agustina, Cinthia, Noemí, Ramona, Martha, Celia, Micaela, Maite, Luz, Andrea, Isabel, Lourdes, Valentina, Luz E. Rosalina, Soledad, Guadalupe, Maria Esparza, Licha, Ana, Arnulfa, Zumico, Dicla, Cruz, Tina, Bertha, Sara, Norma, Cristina, Dolores, Nancy, Dulce, Laura, Gema,
For the next year, 2011, we need help to continue working on the Project of the new congregations in Jiménez Chihuahua, Santa Barbara Chihuahua, and Parral.
We announce to the congregation at Shiloh and the brothers in general, that we urgently need support for a new preacher because one person cannot support all the work that is needed.
So it is necessary to look for a couple that can come and support all the work and this new Project for 2011.

Here I am, as promised, and I keep sending the pictures of the baptisms in Parral. Here I am with two of my Sisters in the Faith. Their names are Sisters Cruz and Tina.
They are going through some difficult moments, as the Sister Cruz’s brother died last year, and Sister Tina lost her young, 17-year-old son. We are asking for your prayers that their faith may not deteriorate.
From my part, greetings to all the brothers of all the Churches of Christ and we ask for your prayers for the Church in Parral, Chihuahua

I began this blog with much excitement, hoping in the Lord that this brings you a little of the work of the Church of Christ in this city of Parral, Chihuahua.
The city of Parral is situated in the south of the state of Chihuahua, the largest in Mexico. It is an old city with a lot of history. This city was founded as many others in Mexico as a mining base. It has very rich earth and at times, silver and gold are excavated. >br>
The population now basically consists of people from the mountains. They are very friendly people who are attentive to the Word of God.
His service came for the first time through these lands in 2004, through means of an invitation of an evangelical campaign made by our brother, Ubaldo Cardona. Brother Ubaldo was the founder of the work of the Lord in this city. The brother told me of a project that there was already a new “mission” being raised up in the north zone of the city. He asked me if I would like to come preach full time in Parral and begin this new mission work. For some years, I had been living with my family in the capital city of Chihuahua, working in a carpenter’s shop and I had been preaching on Sundays at the congregation of the Church of Christ, located on San Juan street in the center of the city.
Through this blog, I would like to tell of how I was born and how I have grown in our Lord who has given this Church of Christ, in the north zone of the city. For soon, we will greet each other with the best of the affections, hoping in God that our congregations will be full of the blessings that he has given us.
Your Brothers of the Church of Christ in North Parral
