What do I wear?
We encourage you to wear what is most comfortable for you. You will find that most of our congregation wears business casual attire, but it is not uncommon to see some wearing casual shirts with jeans or even a suit and tie.
Do you have coffee?
Absolutely! You are welcome to enjoy a free cup of coffee anytime. Look for our coffee pots in the hallway near the main entrance.
What is worship like?
We use a cappella singing with a blend of traditional and contemporary music. A Praise Team with microphones is seated with the congregation near the front to enhance our singing by providing a “guide” for the different harmonies of a song. Songs are projected on the screen at the front of the auditorium to provide an easy way to follow along.
What kind of message will l receive?
Each week our preaching minister, Gary Albritton, delivers a Bible-based sermon that is relevant and applicable to daily life. Click here to watch a sermon from a previous Sunday.
How often do you take communion?
Communion is offered every Sunday morning to reflect on Christ’s sacrifice for each of us. It is during this time that trays containing bread and cups will be passed to you by someone on your pew and you may take communion if you wish.
What do you have for the kids?
Kids are welcome to join you during our service. Worship Bags containing a children’s book, sticker page, writing utensils, and a hands-on activity are available in the foyer to keep younger children engaged. For the older children we provide a Worship Notebook to encourage attention and note-taking during the sermon. If they turn in their notes they also receive a sticker for their Shiloh Kids booklet!
In addition, Children’s Worship is offered for children ages 3 through Kindergarten in the Preschool wing of our building. This service takes place during the sermon and involves: fun songs, an age appropriate Bible lesson, prayer, an offering, and a snack! Kids are released during a designated song marked in the bulletin and you will see a reminder on screen. Click here for more information about Shiloh Kids.
Children ages 0-2 are welcome to come to the Nursery at any portion of our service. The Nursery is located in the Preschool wing to the right of the auditorium.
